I loved my best friend — my non-blood brother — Zack Forte. This isn’t just for him, it’s for generations to come. Skateboarding saved our lives. It gave us purpose and taught us lessons in independence, commitment, community, resilience, and so much more.
The Forte and ESI operate as a nonprofit and for-profit hybrid to ensure that both the community and the facility have a stable, long-term home for extreme sports.
Skateboarding saved my life — it should be available to save others. Our goal is to create a place unlike any other, built through the right partnerships and designed to serve both the community and aspiring athletes. We’re the home of ESPN — it’s time to show what Connecticut and New England is made of when it comes to action sports and community.
West Coast style with East Coast grit.
